This will be my 7th year teaching. I teach at Pearson Elementary the best place in the world to teach. I started my teaching career with a degree in Early Childhood but took a job in Special Education. I was scared to death however if you asked me now I would say it was the best thing I ever did. If and when I ever go back to teach regular education I have something most regular education teachers don't have and that is the knowledge to teach to each child's level.....My first four years were in the resource setting. Then the beginning of my fifth year I was handed a challenge of what we call "INCLUSION". There are different views of this program. I have both sides. I agree this is the "best" setting for some students however when it comes to others it isn't the "best" setting for student.
